CAMERON MEETS QUEEN AS UK PARLIAMENT DISSOLVED

British Prime Minister David Cameron has visited the Queen to formally mark the end of the coalition government formed in 2010.

He informed her Britain's Parliament has been dissolved ahead of one of the closest general election races in decades.

Both traditionally main parties - the Conservatives and Labour - will struggle to form a majority government after May 7th's vote, according to polls.

But speaking outside Downing Street after his audience with the Queen, Conservative leader David Cameron said he had work still to do.
