A four-nation summit on the crisis in Ukraine will take place on Wednesday in Belarus.
Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France will meet to try and hammer out a new peace plan, following the visit to Moscow on Friday by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande.
Britain became the latest European government to decide against providing the Ukrainian government with lethal assistance.
But the US government says it's continuing to think about the possibility of extending more military aid to Ukraine.
