Nigerian elections postponed due to Boko Haram threat

INTRO: Nigeria's electoral commission has postponed the country's presidential elections, scheduled for next Saturday, by six weeks to March 28th. The head of the commission said the military, which had deployed most of its troops to fight the Boko Haram threat in the north of the country, could not guarantee the safety of voters. But opposition parties have criticized the decision as a ploy to keep the current government in power. Gary Alfonso reports ...
