Obama seeks Congressional authorization for IS fight

President Obama is asking the US Congress to authorize a 3-year military campaign against Islamic State and he's leaving the door open to the possible deployment of ground troops in Iraq and Syria.


If approved, it will be the first time Congress has authorized a President to use force since George W. Bush invaded Iraq.
