Nigerian president says tide turning against Boko Haram

INTRO:  Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan says military successes against Boko Haram extremists in Nigeria has made the terrorist group turn to soft target involving suicide bombings. His remarks followed several successful operations by the Nigerian military against Boko Haram hide-outs in the north east of the country, where soldiers from Chad, Cameroon and Niger are also driving militants from their territories. But suicide bombers linked to the Islamic extremists have killed at least 27 people in the cities of Kano and Potiskom in the past two days. Gary Alfonso reports ...
