Eurozone Finance ministers are meeting in Brussels to make progress in debt talks with Greece, whose government has refused to accept further austerity measures that would accompany an extension to its 240 billion euro bailout program which ends in March.
Today's meeting comes after an extraordinary session last Thursday which failed to reach a compromise with euro countries reluctant to relax conditions for Greece.
Walking into the meeting German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said he was skeptical a deal would be reached on Monday considering talks over the weekend with the European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund also failed to reach common ground.
Irish Finance Minister Michael Noonan said he was eager to understand Greece's specific requests.
