Egypt claims 50 IS militants killed in strikes on Libya

Egypt claims that up to 50 Islamic State militants have been killed after the Egyptian Air Force conducted air strikes in Libya.

The move follows the beheadings of 21 Egyptian Christians, whose gruesome murders were depicted on a new Islamic State video.

Egyptian state TV says the dawn strikes targeted training sites, IS camps and weapons storage centers.
