NYT: CIA Report Suggested Torture Program Was Ineffective

The CIA's own internal classified report found that harsh interrogation methods were ineffective in the post 9-11 era, according to the New York Times.

A fight is brewing over the releasing of more classified material discussing torture methods used to extract intelligence, a practice which ended in 2006.
