Londoners gather in solidarity with Paris

Hundreds of Londoners have gathered in Trafalgar Square to show sympathy for the victims of the terror attack at the headquarters of Paris' satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

The mood is somber, as people expressed their solidarity with the publication and their horror at the killing, which left 12 dead and 11 injured.

Our London correspondent Catherine Drew is on the scene.
