IMF Hopeful of Debt Relief To Ebola-Stricken Nations

The International Monetary Fund is hoping to finalize debt relief to the three major Ebola-hit nations.

Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia would also receive new IMF financing worth up to 160 million dollars.

World Health Organization officials say the fight against the virus has now reached a "turning point".

But the nations will lose business worth up to 1.6 billion dollars this year, according to the World Bank.

The IMF's Deputy Spokesperson William Murray says he hopes the additional help will be approved soon...
