New York Police Commissioner criticizes officers' "inappropriate" behaviour

New York's top policeman has heavily criticized the "inappropriate"
behaviour of officers who turned their back on the city's Mayor during
a colleague's funeral.

In a show of disrespect dozens of officers faced the other way when
mayor Bill de Blasio spoke at the funeral of one of the two policeman
shot dead in their patrol car.

De Blasio has come under criticism for seeming to side with
anti-police protesters, who have campaigned against the killing of two
unarmed black civilians by white officers.

Speaking to CBS New York Police Commissioner Bill Bratton showed his
support for the Mayor and condemned the officers' actions.
