New plans for Rome's Colosseum spark controversy

Plans to cover the floor of the Roman Colosseum have sparked debate in Italy, after a culture minister suggested covering the tunnels that have long been visible to visitors.

The idea has drawn criticism from those who want to keep the 2000 year-old arena as it is and others who say the project would cost millions during a time of careful spending in Italy.
