Foreign minister of the netherlands Frans Timmermans has come under fire from some of the families of victims aboard the downed malaysian flight mh17, for revealing new evidence.
In a television interview he suggested not everybody died instantly when the plane was allegedly hit by a missile over Ukranian rebel held territory.
He noted one of the bodies was wearing an oxygen mask after impact - a detail some of the victims families said was not included in an initial report.
In a government statement, Timmermans apologized, and admitted he should not have made the statement.
But our Europe correspondent Sandra Gathmann says prosecutors have been confirming Mr. Timmerman's account.
