US deeply concerned about Israeli Settlement plans

The Obama administration is deeply concerned that the Israeli government's plans to build more than 2,600 housing units in East Jerusalem.

U.S. President Barack Obama hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for wide-ranging discussions about the challenging situation in the region.

While affirming the unbreakable bond between Washington and Jerusalem, White House spokesman Josh Earnest expressed deeply skepticism about the wisdom of the latest housing plan.
