Russian gas and free trade opposition damage relationship with Europe

German Chancellor Angela Merkel says it may be necessary to rethink long term energy partnerships with Russia if it continues to violate basic principles.


The comments come amid negotiations of natural gas supply to Ukraine and beyond and a a row over Ukraine's economic integration with the EU.
