A report into child sexual exploitation in the South Yorkshire area of the UK has revealed there to be over a thousand cases in Rotherham, Northern England, between 1997 and 2013.
The report reveals that victims were failed by council agencies over a 16 year period, with more than a third of the cases known to child protection agencies.
