STARMER TO ARRIVE IN CHINA ON CONTROVERSIAL VISIT

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is beginning a visit to China - the first by a British Prime Minister since 2018.

He's accompanied by government ministers and dozens of business and cultural leaders.

The opposition Conservatives say Keir Starmer is 'bending over backwards to appease Beijing' and needs to take a tougher stance because of national security concerns.
