Russian Olympic Team set to lose 2022 Beijing Olympics gold as its top figure skater Valieva loses doping case

Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva got a four-year disqualification for doping from an international sports court. As she is stripped of her medal, the Russian Olympic Team (ROC) is set to lose the Olympic gold its skating team won in 2022 Winter Games in Beijing. The Kremlin said the court's decision was politicized. The ROC called Valieva's ban "a declaration of war on Russian sports". Our correspondent Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.

Indian Navy rescues 19 Pakistani nationals from vessel hijacked by Somali pirates

The Indian Navy says it has rescued 19 Pakistani crew members who were onboard a vessel hijacked by Somali pirates in the Arabian Sea.

This is the second anti-piracy operation carried out by the Indian Navy in less than two days.

Farmers continue 'siege' of Paris as protests expand

Hong Kong Unveils Plans for New Domestic Security Legislation

Anti-Muslim hate rises in US
