Trump Doubles Down on Hydroxychloroquine

U.S. President Donald President Trump is once again promoting the drug hydroxychloroquine in the fight against COVID-19. That despite clinical trials finding it is not effective.

Trump Administration halts new DACA applications

The Trump administration said it won't allow new applicants to an Obama-era program that protects immigrants, who came to the US as children, from being deported.

It comes after a court ruling last month blocked 
President Donald Trump's attempt to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

UK PM DEFENDS QUARANTINING TRAVELLERS RETURNING FROM ALL OF SPAIN

DRC Locals Demand Security

India woman petitions Prime Minister Modi to get men to do more chores

An Indian woman's petition demanding the Indian Prime Minister ask the men of the country to share the burden of unpaid care work at home has received more than 70,000 signatures.

Before the lockdown, Indian women did ten times more unpaid work every day. Studies have shown that since the pandemic started more than four months ago, the unpaid work done by women at home has increased significantly.

China Records Highest Daily Tally of Covid-19 Cases Since April

Gains on Wall Street as investors eye stimulus package

Wall Street began the trading week on a high with investors awaiting
details of a new stimulus package.

The Republican bill is set to cost roughly one trillion dollars to
offset the economic pain caused by the pandemic.

This comes as an existing 600 dollar weekly unemployment benefit is
set to expire at the end of the month.
