Earnings, consumer confidence and stimulus all dominating investor sentiment

Wall Street lost ground on Tuesday with investors reacting to
corporate earnings and a drop in consumer confidence.

Traders are also keeping close tabs on Capitol Hill as Republicans and
Democrats negotiate over a Covid-19 stimulus package.
