HANTAVIRUS SHIP TO HEAD FOR CANARIES

Spain has give permission for a cruise ship at the centre of a deadly hantavirus outbreak to dock in the Canary Islands.

Hantavirus is usually spread from rodent droppings, but the World Health Organization says there is a possibility of human to human transmission on the ship.
