The U.S. Supreme Court has temporarily restored access to the abortion pill mifepristone via telehealth and mail, pausing a lower court ruling that would have required in-person visits. The conservative 5th Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday effectively banned telehealth consultations, which have become a popular way for women to access the medication.
