in Minneapolis from using force against peaceful protesters.

President Trump officially launches 'Board of Peace' at Davos summit

The US president joined other world leaders on the stage at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday to inaugurate his so-called "Board of Peace".

UK PM Condemns US Tariff Threats Over Greenland

The UK Prime Minister has rejected US demands to control Greenland and called threats of tariffs against allies in opposition to the move "completely wrong". 

Speaking to parliament on Wednesday, Keir Starmer reiterated the UK's position that the future of the arctic island is for the people of Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark alone. 


Starmer added that the UK "will not yield" to pressure from US President Donald Trump, after Trump criticised Britain's deal to give sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius. 


Starmer claimed Trump's public labelling of the deal as an "act of great stupidity" was "for the express purpose of putting pressure on me and Britain in relation to my values and principles on the future of Greenland".
