European leaders agree on full support for Ukraine after call with Zelenskyy

The French president, German chancellor and British prime minister say they are fully aligned on their continued backing for Ukraine, after a call on Friday with the Ukrainian president.

It comes after the release of a peace plan drafted by the US, which Ukraine's foreign minister says amounts to the country's capitulation.

Kremlin denies it knows details of Trump’s peace plan for Ukraine

The Kremlin says it has not received any information on the alleged peace plan for Ukraine, details of which were leaked by several american media citing sources close to the US President Donald Trump's administration. Moscow reiterated it's open to negotiations. And suggested Russia's advance along the frontline should convince Kiev to enter peace talks now and reach a settlement.  Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.

European / Indo-Pacific Meeting In Brussels

Delegations from over 50 nations across Europe and the Indo-Pacific are gathering in Brussels to discuss shared security concerns and deepening economic cooperation.

Major march planned for man killed in worsening drug violence in Marseille

US adds unexpected 119,000 new jobs in September

British Forces Deployed to Track Russian Spy Ship

The UK's Defence Secretary has announced that British forces have been deployed to track a Russian spy ship on the edge of UK waters. 

John Healey said a Royal Navy Frigate and RAF planes are monitoring and tracking the vessels movements in the sea to the North of Scotland.

He added that the Russian ship, 'Yantar', is designed to gather intelligence and map undersea cables and that its crew had used lasers to disrupt RAF pilots tracking it.  


Healey called this "deeply dangerous" and warned Russian President Vladimir Putin that the UK military was ready to respond to any threats posed by the vessel.
