INCREASED SECURITY ON UK TRANSPORT NETWORK AFTER STABBINGS

There's an increased security presence on the UK's transport network on Monday after a mass stabbing on a train on Saturday.

A train worker who's being hailed as a hero for preventing a worse tragedy remains in a 'critical but stable' condition in hospital.

A 32 year-old man's being held on suspicion of attempted murder after 11 people were injured in the attack on a train traveling from Doncaster to London.

Former Metropolitan Police officer Andy Hayman says it's difficult to increase daily security in response to an incident like this.
