Trump and Xi agree tariff reduction and rare earth access

US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping have agreed
to reduce tariffs, as the rivals seek to manage heightened tensions.

It was their first in-person meeting since Trump's return to the White
House in January.
