President Trump names India, China, Pakistan among illicit drug producing, transit countries

US president Donald Trump has named India, China, and Pakistan among 23 major illicit drug producing or drug transit countries in a "Presidential Determination" submitted to Congress.

Mr Trump warned that these countries should "shut off their supplies" or "face consequences".

China defence minister slams 'acts of bullying' at Beijing forum

Former CDC Director says she was fired after refusing to rubber stamp vaccine recommendations

The former head of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says she was fired last month for "holding the line on scientific integrity."

In testimony before the Senate - Dr. Susan Monarez said her boss, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., ousted her after she refused to put politics above science.
