Flash floods in North India kill two, dozens missing

India slams Pakistan at SCO

India's Defence Minister has come face-to-face with his Pakistani counterpart for the first time since military hostilities between the two countries in May.

The two leaders are attending the China-led Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Qingdao.

In May, both sides fired missiles and drones across the border, following India's air strikes inside Pakistan that it claimed took out 'terror infrastructure' used to plan and execute terror attacks across the border.

NATO Chief downplays Trump article 5 remarks

UK To Buy Nuclear-Capable Fighter Jets

The UK has announced it will buy new fighter jets capable of carrying nuclear weapons. 

The British Government says the purchase of 12 F-35A's will see the UK join NATO's airborne nuclear mission and calls it the 'Biggest strengthening of the UK's nuclear posture in a generation'. 


The announcement comes with NATO's summit underway in the Netherlands, and as the alliance's member states commit to increased defence spending.
