Trump halts Ukraine military aid

US President Donald Trump has ordered a pause on sending military aid to Ukraine after his heated clash with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office.

Arab nations hold emergency Gaza summit in Cairo

Sharp Rise In Obesity Rates Expected

More than half of all adults around the world, and a third of children, are predicted to be either overweight or obese by 2050.


The study, published in the Lancet, found that obesity rates are rising rapidly, especially in lower and middle income countries.


The research didn't consider the potential impacts of weight-loss jabs though, which are gaining popularity in wealthier countries.


Giles Yeo is a geneticist at the University of Cambridge who specialises in obesity - he believes government support is needed to tackle the problem.

China vows to hit back against US tariffs linked to fentanyl

INTRO: Beijing has vowed to retaliate against fresh US import tariffs set to take effect on Tuesday, saying the Trump administration was trying to "shift the blame" and "bully" Beijing over fentanyl flows.

Trump suspends all military aide to Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has ordered an immediate suspension of American military support for Ukraine, just days after his on-camera argument with the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky.


The White House says the suspension will remain in force until the Ukrainians demonstrate a "good faith commitment to peace".
