China vows to hit back against US tariffs linked to fentanyl

INTRO: Beijing has vowed to retaliate against fresh US import tariffs set to take effect on Tuesday, saying the Trump administration was trying to "shift the blame" and "bully" Beijing over fentanyl flows.

Trump announced he would increase tariffs on Chinese products by an additional 10 percentage points for the second time in two months. The tariffs are an additional hike to preexisting levies on thousands of Chinese goods. Laura Westbrook has more from Hong Kong.
