US targets China's chip industry with new restrictions

SYRIAN ARMY PREPARES MAJOR COUNTER ATTACK WITH RUSSIAN SUPPORT

The United States, France, Germany, and the UK are calling for de-escalation in Syria, after surprise territorial gains by rebel forces ousted the Syrian army from the north-western city of Aleppo last week.

A former head of the UK's Secret Intelligence Service, or MI6, says while the retreat of President Bashar Al-Assad's forces may be "satisfying" — rebel Islamist groups don't present a "good future either".

U.S. destroys Houthi missiles and drone attack on vessels in the Gulf of Aden

UK lawmakers back assisted dying in historic vote

UK lawmakers have voted in favour of historic legislation to allow assisted dying for some terminally ill people.

330 parliamentarians supported the bill while 275 voted against it.

Israel Hamas trade accusations over ceasefire violations

A fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah mostly appears to be holding- this despite Israel opening fire on mourners at a funeral in the Lebanese town of Khiam, according to local media.

Both sides are trading accusations over violations of the terms of the deal.


Meanwhile at least 33 Palestinians have reportedly been killed and 137 injured in Israeli attacks in the past day in the Gaza Strip.
