Ukraine is the focus of the final day of the G20 summit in Brazil.

It comes amid reports Ukraine has used US-made long-range missiles to
strike far into Russian territory.

Ukraine uses American weapons to strike deep into Russian territory

Ukraine has fired American-made long-range missiles deep into Russia, just a day after the United States gave permission for the use of these weapons on Russian soil.


Russia's Defence Ministry said the strike on Tuesday morning caused a fire at a military facility in its internationally-recognised territory, vowing an "appropriate and tangible response" to the attack. 


The White House has yet to officially comment (as of 15G). From Washington, Benji Hyer reports.

Hong Kong court sentences 45 activists

Delhi and neighbouring areas enveloped by toxic smog

Large parts of north India continue to be enveloped by a thick layer of toxic smog.

While air pollution levels have dipped marginally since touching a new high of 1200 on pollution monitors, emergency measures imposed earlier in the week will stay in place.
