crippling effects of extreme heat.

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu addresses US Congress

Israel's Prime Minister has called on American lawmakers to supply more weapons for the war in Gaza, vowing his country will defeat Hamas.


Addressing Congress on Wednesday, Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will fight until all hostages taken on October 7 and still being held in the strip are released.


As he spoke, thousands of protestors gathered in Washington DC to condemn his visit, and dozens of Democrats boycotted his address.
