Italian PM Giorgia Meloni heading to China amid trade tensions with EU

The Chinese Foreign Ministry says Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will arrive in China for a five-day official visit on Saturday.

It's Meloni's first trip to the country since taking office - and since pulling Italy out of China's Belt & Road Initiative or BRI.
