India's foreign ministry says 40 citizens among Kuwait fire victims

India's foreign ministry says that at least 40 Indians are among the 49 killed in a fire which broke out in a residential building in Kuwait.

Dozens of workers were staying in the building.

US central banks keeps interest rate unchanged and hits at just one future cut

The US Federal Reserve says it intends to bring down interest rates by the end of the year — but only once, quashing any expectations of much sharper cuts.

UN experts cites war crimes by Israel and Palestinian militants

United Nations Human Rights experts revealed on Wednesday that Israeli
forces and Palestinian militants engaged in sexual and gender-based
violence during the first months of the Israel-Hamas war.
