Violent Clashes erupt in Pakistan administered Kashmir against the rising cost of fuel, electricity and utility bills

India likely to sign pact with Iran to manage Chabahar port for 10 years

India is reportedly likely to sign an agreement with Iran to manage the southeastern Iranian port of Chabahar for the next 10 years.

India has been developing a part of the port in Chabahar, which is located on Iran's coast along the Gulf of Oman, as a way to transport goods to central Asian countries by avoiding its rival Pakistan's Karachi port.

Indian spice maker faced US rejections of shipments

A popular Indian spice maker, which has come under scrutiny for alleged contamination of some of its products, has seen more than 14 per cent of its shipments to the US rejected since 2021 because of the presence of bacteria, according to Reuters.

Hong Kong last month suspended sales of some spices made by the spice brand MDH, for allegedly containing high levels of a cancer-causing pesticide.

Michael Cohen to testify in Trump hush money trial

Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen is expected to testify in the former US president's hush money trial on Monday.


He's the key witness in the high-profile case in which Trump is accused of falsifying business records to cover up a payment to adult movie star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.


Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, has pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts.


On Saturday, tens of thousands of people gathered in the US state of New Jersey to show their support for the former president.
