Violent Clashes erupt in Pakistan administered Kashmir against the rising cost of fuel, electricity and utility bills

One police officer has been killed and several more injured in Pakistan-administered Kashmir where protests against rising electricity prices and the imposition of hefty local taxes turned violent.

Pakistan's government has called a high level meeting to address the law and order situation there.
