UN Secretary General convenes urgent meeting with donor countries

UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres will meet with several donor
countries in an attempt to persuade them to reverse their decision to
pause UNRWA funding.
Several countries which include the United States and Germany, put a
halt on funding following allegations that several UN staff were
allegedly involved in the October 7th attacks on Israel.

EU nations agree on using profits from frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine

UK Train Strike Disruption

A fresh wave of strikes is causing widespread disruption across the UKs rail network. 

A number of rail operators have cancelled all services on Tuesday as train drivers from the Aslef Union begin the first in a number of rolling walkouts over a long running pay dispute. 


Union officials say a pay increase is long overdue, while train bosses say a fair offer has been made.

Three Palestinians killed by Israeli special forces in West Bank hospital

Hamas is vowing to respond, after the Israeli military assassinated three Palestinian men in the West Bank early Tuesday morning, accusing them of plotting an imminent terror attack.

Nigeria Slams Niger Republic, Burkina Faso and Mali’s Move to Quit Regional Bloc

Indian Navy rescues 19 Pakistani nationals from vessel hijacked by Somali pirates

Hong Kong Unveils Plans for New Domestic Security Legislation
