US and Mexico vow to curb migration flows

The United States and Mexico are hailing what both countries call "important and productive" talks aimed at stemming the flow of migrants to the US. 


America's top diplomat Antony Blinken visited Mexico on Wednesday to meet President Andrés Manuel López Obrado, at a time when border crossings into the US are hitting record numbers, with often as many as 10,000 migrants reaching the southern border per day, as thousands more trek through Mexico.

UN warns of deteriorating human rights in West Bank

The United Nations warns that the human rights situation in the
occupied West Bank is rapidly deteriorating.

In a new report the UN states that 300 Palestinians, including 77
children, have been killed there since October 7th.

Hamas killed around 1,200 people that day and Israel says it won't end
its fight in Gaza until the group is defeated.

Localised tornado damages homes in UK

Romania and Bulgaria Partial Schengen Entry

Romania and Bulgaria will become partial members of the European Schengen area, which allows travelers to move between countries without border checks.The eastern European countries struck a deal with Austria, which had opposed their accession over concerns about immigration.

US confirms strikes on militia targets in Iraq in response to attack

The United States says it's launched precision strikes against Iranian-backed militants in Iraq, in response to a drone attack on an American airbase there that injured three servicemen.


US forces hit three sites used by the radical Kata'ib Hezbollah group, a move Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin called "necessary and proportionate."
