SBF expected to testify in own defense

Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of failed cryptocurrency exchange FTX,
is expected to take the stand in his own defense later today.

His lawyer confirmed SBF, as he's often known, will be one of the four
witnesses his team hope will get him acquitted.

UK Prime Minister unveils first AI safety institute

Nigeria's Supreme Court Rules on Presidential Election Challenge

Nigeria's Supreme Court will today rule whether to uphold President Bola Tinubu's disputed election victory.


President Tinubu's two main contenders in the February 25th presidential election filed an appeal to the apex court challenging the decision of a lower court last month to uphold Tinubu's win.


Atiku Abubakar of the People's Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, who came second and third respectively in the February election allege that the election was marred by irregularities.

Donald Trump fined $10,000 for violating gag order

Antisemitic incidents in the US up almost 400%

Antisemitic incidents in the United States have risen by nearly 400% in just a matter of weeks, according to data from the Anti-Defamation League.
