CUE: A sailor in the US Navy says he's guilty of accepting fifteen-thousand dollars in bribes to supply Chinese intelligence with military information. He was arrested in August.

Pressure mounts of White House to launch rescue mission to free hostages in Gaza

Pressure is growing on the White House to plan a rescue of Americans being held hostage by Hamas in Gaza.


President Biden on Monday confirmed that at least 14 Americans lost their lives in Israel at the hands of Hamas last weekend.


US officials say at least 20 more are among the missing.

Top US diplomat set for Israel trip

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is traveling to Israel on
Wednesday to offer Washington's support following the Hamas attack
that killed more than 1,000 Israelis.

The US is working with the Israeli government to secure the release of
dozens of hostages who were taken into Gaza, including an estimated 20
Americans.

President Joe Biden says US "stands with Israel"

President Joe Biden insists the United States has Israel's back, promising the country will get what it needs to "defend itself" amid an escalating crisis in the Middle East. 


Fourteen Americans were killed by Hamas militants on Saturday when the terror group launched an unprecedented multi-pronged attack on Israel which left more than a thousand dead. 


Mr Biden called it a "stomach-churning, sickening atrocity on an appalling scale — and a violation of every code of human morality."


The White House also confirmed some United States citizens are being held hostage in Gaza having been abducted during the assault.

Report: Driver who crashed into San Francisco Chinese consulate armed with crossbow

The man shot and killed by police after driving a car into the Chinese consulate in San Francisco was armed with a knife and crossbow, according to eyewitness and media reports.

Families of missing Americans in Israel urge Biden to free their loved-ones

Families of Americans missing in Israel are piling pressure on the Biden Administration to take action to rescue their loved-ones.

President Biden interviewed over classified documents

US President Joe Biden has been interviewed as part of an investigation into his handling of classified documents.


Papers from his time as Vice-President were found in his home and a think-tank he founded in Washington DC.

Dueling ralles in America over Gaza attacks, as Trump criticizes Biden

Rallies have taken place across the United States relating to the crisis in the Middle East.
