Canadian military deployed to tackle fires

Canada is deploying its military to tackle wildfires raging across the province of British Columba.


The area is battling nearly 400 fires, which have forced thousands of evacuations.


On Friday, British Columbia declared a state of emergency. 


The region also imposed a ban on non-essential travel to free up accommodation for people being evacuated and emergency services.
