Japan’s Prime Minister is keeping silent on when the government will launch its controversial plan to release treated, radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean, despite reports an announcement is imminent.
Over a million tonnes of wastewater used to cool the wrecked Fukushima nuclear power plant is expected to be discharged over the next 40 years.
