US: China providing Russia diplomatic cover to commit atrocities in Ukraine

The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken was responding to the Chinese
leader Xi Jinping's trip to Moscow to meet President Vladimir Putin.
China has proposed a plan to bring a peaceful end to the war.
But the US believes the plan would amount to a "ratification of
Russian conquest" and recognize the gains it has made without during
the conflict.
