Nigeria's Inspector-General of Police has ordered the deployment of armed personnel along Abuja-Kaduna route, as train services on that route resumes.
Train operations have been suspended in the last eight months by the Nigeria Railway Corporation, following a Boko haram attack on a Kaduna-bound train in March, that left at least eight people dead and dozens kidnapped.
According to the NRC, services will begin with two train rides from Abuja to Kaduna and vice versa.

The largest ever trial of its kind gets underway in Belgium today, over the 2016 terrorist attacks which claimed 32 lives and injured hundreds more in the capital, Brussels.
The landmark case involves ten defendants suspected of carrying out bombings across the city.

The G7 and Australia have agreed to put a price cap on Russian seaborne oil, in a bid to limit the amount of money Moscow can feed into its war efforts against Ukraine.
