Universal Studios Resort in Beijing Shuts Due to "COVID Measures"

Reports say Beijing's Universal Studios resort has temporarily closed due to COVID-19 prevention measures.

That's amid fears of a growing number of infections in the Chinese capital, and elsewhere in the country as it continues to pursue its zero-COVID policy.

Japan's PM apologizes over Ministers resignation

Japan’s Prime Minister is apologizing to parliament following the resignation of his economic minister over connections to the religious group, the Unification Church.

White House condemns Russian court's decision to reject Brittney Griner appeal

The White House has condemned the decision by a Russian court to reject US basketball star Brittney Griner's appeal against her 9 year prison sentence for drugs charges, calling the legal proceedings a "sham".

Trapped Funds: Nigeria’s Central Bank to Release $120 Million to Foreign Airlines
