inflammatory visit to the self-governed island.

China has sharply criticized the trip and accused Washington of
violating its sovereignty.

TANZANIA ZAMBIA BOOST RELATIONS

Tanzania and Zambia have signed agreements to improve bilateral relations. They aim to work together to revive the TAZARA railway to make it modern and vibrant along with other logistics and energy-related issues. EU calls for dialogue amid tensions after Pelosi's Taiwan trip

SCHOLZ SLAMS RUSSIA OVER GAS EQUIPMENT PROBLEMS

Pelosi lands in Taiwan

Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives has landed in Taiwan, becoming the most senior US government figure to visit the island for 25 years.


She is spending the night there, and on Wednesday will meet President Tsai Ing Wen….images that are sure to irk Beijing, which has already issued forceful warnings about the consequences of her visit and conducted weekend military drills.

G7 ministers mull options for curbing Russia's energy profits

G7 foreign ministers are mulling ways to limit Russia's energy export revenues.


In a new joint declaration, ministers from Japan, Canada, the US, Italy, France, Germany, the UK and the European Union say they are considering targeting the transportation of Russian oil not purchased below a set price.
