G7 ministers mull options for curbing Russia's energy profits

G7 foreign ministers are mulling ways to limit Russia's energy export revenues.


In a new joint declaration, ministers from Japan, Canada, the US, Italy, France, Germany, the UK and the European Union say they are considering targeting the transportation of Russian oil not purchased below a set price.


G7 nations have imposed several rounds of sanctions on Moscow in response to the invasion of Ukraine.
