Northern Ireland Protocol could be changed, says UK government source

The UK government could introduce legislation allowing ministers in London to override parts of the Brexit deal on Northern Ireland.

Gunmen Release Pregnant Woman Abducted During Train Attack In Northern Nigeria

Gunmen who abducted train passengers in Nigeria's northern region in March this year have released one of their hostages - a woman that is  heavily pregnant.


The train was coming from Abuja, Nigeria's capital to Kaduna in the country's northwest when the armed men attacked it and took away hostages.

MEASLES IN DRC

Health officials in the Democratic Republic of Congo have recorded more than 800 cases of Measles in the central part of the country since the start of the year. Authorities in Kasai-Oriental Province say 18 health zones have been affected out of the 19 in the region. Measles is a highly contagious illness that mostly affects children. Norway backs Finland and Sweden NATO plans but Turkey outlines list of demands

Finland has submitted a formal application to join NATO and its neighbour Sweden has also outlined its intentions to do the same.


NATO member Norway has backed the plans which it says will be good for the Nordic region.

Shooting in Buffalo, New York -- multiple dead

One small step towards plants ... on the Moon
