Ukrainians being turned back at US-Mexico border under new refugee policy

Ukrainians are being turned back at the US Mexico border, following the launch of a new US refugee sponsorship program.


Many are being sent to shelters in Mexico City while their asylum claims are processed.

Biden asks Congress for $33B in new aid for Ukraine

U.S. President Joe Biden is asking Congress to approve more than $30 billion in new funding of security, economic and humanitarian assistance for Ukraine.

He said it's necessary to help its forces defeat Russian attacks over the coming months, and is in addition to the $13.6 billion already approved in March.

The White House has also proposed liquidating the assets of Russian oligarchs to donate to the proceeds for Ukraine.

Trevor Reed back on American soil after being freed from Russian prison

A former Marine from Texas is back on American soil after being held in Russia for nearly three years.

Trevor Reed was released from detention on Wednesday as part of a prisoner exchange.

Uganda relaxes PCR test requirement for travellers

NATO chief says Finland & Sweden would be welcome to alliance "with open arms"

Uganda Considers Deploying Troops to Mozambique
